Ines Kalai is a Phd student and university teacher of Law at the University of Law of Sussah, Tunisia. She is an associate member of the Tunisian Association of resarch and studies on democracy and Local affairs and an active member of the Scientific Research Unity of Administrative law at the University of Sussah. In 2012, she got her masters degree and published a memoire about the Constitutional Commission of the National Constituent Assembly. Today she is preparing her PhD thesis in public law. The topic deals with participatory democracy in Tunisia. She taught widely taxation law, International law, administrative law and Human Rights. She has recently paticipated in local and international workshops, such as one in The Netherlands-University of Groningen about Democratic Transition and Human Rights in the Arab Spring.
